Dr. Potter will speak on the Federal Reserve’s experience with implementing monetary policy since the beginning of policy normalization in December 2015, and discuss the performance of our monetary policy implementation framework in light of recent structural changes in money markets. Dr. Potter oversees the implementation of domestic open market and foreign exchange trading operations consistent with FOMC directives, the execution of fiscal agent support for the US treasury, and the provision of account services to foreign and international monetary authorities. Prior to joining the Bank, Dr. potter was a faculty member in the Department of Economics at UCLA.
